Hereford High School has fielded VEX Robotics teams since 2008, just one year after the inception of the competition. Hereford was first invited to the Vex Robotics World Championship in 2009, playing the game Elevation. Hereford Zone Robotics has won an invitation to every World Championship since then, reaching the Dome Finals to finish 5th ranked in the World with team 929U in 2018. Each year a new game brings new design challenges for students to overcome and learn from.
